Witherby Gouges

Here is a picture of two Witherby gouges I found recently at an estate sale. One had a busted handle, and the other had a fine antique handle. I wanted to maintain the antique look of these tools so I made a replacement handle using the ferrule from the busted handle.

Can you tell which one is the replacement handle?

If you guessed the top handle, you are correct. The stain at the ferrule was caused by the buffing wheel when I polished the ferrule. The shiny steel is caused by my buffing the rust off. I can live with that. :>)
